About Us

Kevin and Eliza Knapp are the founders of Virtual Drive of America, and reside in Amarillo, Texas. With over 25 years of multimedia computer based training experience developing courses for the military, government agencies, major airline corporations, and an industry leading pharmaceutical company, they have utilized their skills and experience to create the finest driver education training course available.

Kevin and Eliza are also parents of four teen-agers themselves and have personally been through this difficult process. They found the state course outline overwhelming and other private parent taught courses difficult and cumbersome. They decided to take their skills and design and develop a course that was not only easy and effective for the student, but one that would break down the daunting process so parents could easily understand and perform the training required by the DPS/DMV. To date, thousands of teen-agers have now been trained in the proper techniques of safe driving with the help of Virtual Drive of America.
